WHAT WE DO
Facilitate partnerships for a high-quality STEM curriculum early, in order to get a head start in obtaining high levels of STEM achievement throughout her education and future career.
Manage support services to advance our mathematics and sciences teachers, partner with high-quality supplemental STEM student learning centers, and build up engaged STEM parental advocates.
Create equal access for high-quality STEM opportunities for young African American women through strategic partnerships and programs, as well as ensure our college-bound high school students are ready for courses typically required for a STEM major.
Gain community support in advocating social responsiblity, building programs and facilitating partnerships in an effort to increase the number of Bachelor's degrees African American women obtain in computer sciences, mathematics and statistics, and engineering.
Partner with STEM community leaders and develop programming that helps to increase and maintain the representation of African American women in the U.S. STEM workforce.
